This course introduces Simple – as – Possible 1, Simple – as – Possible 2 (8080/8085), Simple – as – Possible 3 (Z80) microprocessor circuits and applications. The discussion includes CPU, ROM, I/O registers, decoders and their associated concepts of programming techniques, memory addressing and peripheral interfacing. Introduction t o Z-80 and PIC microcontroller hardware concepts, interfacing, programming (using Z-80 Developer and PIC software) and application are also included.
